Cats & Dogs
Ok - we all know how it is supposed to work:
Dog chases cat
Cat runs away to a spot too high for the dog to reach
Dog gets upset, cat gets away
It just didn't happen that way with Frisket this week.
Frisket and I were talking a walk down Henry Street, minding our own business, when we passed a deli with a cat. The cat rockets down the stairs, stops in front of Frisket, lifts his paws and scratches her in the face!
Frisket, being unable to understand that anyone or anything might have bad intentions towards her, decides this is GAME! and wants to play with the cat. Frisket thinks this is fun.
I, on the other hand, see Frisket bleeding from her eye and drag her away, spoiling her fun.
Yes - our 75 pound dog was attacked by a cat, out of the blue, and clearly lost. She doesn't even realize she lost and would go do it again.
(I took her to the vet, she has a scratch on her eyelid, but her eye is fine. A little bit of antibiotic cream and the scratch is healing nicely - and I'd bet she still wants to play with the cat)

Frisket is a Star!
Ed never posted this, so I will....
Frisket now has a starring role on the MonsterMutt website .
It may just be because it is a good picture, but Frisket is convinced it is a testament to her star power.
